E&I Campaign Announces 2009 Policy Recommendations The Equity and Inclusion Campaign today released its 2009 Policy Recommendations for the Obama administration and Congress.
"These recommendations represent the best thinking of community leaders and advocates who work at the grassroots level with the poorest and most vulnerable people in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi affected by the 2005 and 2008 Gulf Coast hurricanes. They identify key issues in need of immediate attention and lay out suggested actions for the first year of the Obama administration and 111th Congress, so that federal resources are used to maximum effect in facilitating a full and equitable recovery."
